Japanese born. California raised.

Hi, we’re Takeya. We’re here to inspire healthy choices and find new ways to make everyday life a little bit better.

Our roots are in Japan, where we have a 65 year history of precision manufacturing, but our home is Southern California. We were created by a Japanese innovator and California entrepreneur and we make products that merge our quality heritage with the style and ethos of the Golden State. We’re passionate about wellness through hydration, so we focus on making the perfect water bottle.

We’ve looked at the water bottle from every angle. When we first started, the only water bottles we could find were leaky, awkward to carry and kept water tepid at best. We think getting enough water should be enjoyable and easy, so we set out to fix this. Today, we make leak-proof, insulated bottles that are easy to carry and we’re always looking at ways to innovate and improve.

Our team has evolved to a larger group of people obsessed with the art of the bottle. Our Southern California headquarters is a vibrant space where we get into the nitty gritty of the details and continue to make a better bottle every day. Our bottles are customized and shipped with care from Ohio, where we pay close attention to the quality of everything we make.

OUR MISSION

We’re on a mission to constantly innovate, making mindful and healthy choices easier and better all the time.

CORE VALUES

Family, friendship and community are at the heart of everything we do.  The amount of single-use plastic that pollutes our oceans and clogs landfills concerns us, so we make products to offset the damage. Our hope is that we can leave a healthy planet for future generations and encourage healthy habits here and now.

OUR CONTRIBUTION

We’re firm believers that healthy people need a healthy planet. So we make products that eliminate the need for single use plastic. Since water is sort of our thing, we’re proud to help reduce the millions of tons of plastic dumped into the ocean each year.
