Recipe: Chocolate Strawberry Cold Brew Latte

Inspired by the taste of sweet strawberries dipped into rich chocolate, we infused those flavors into a cold brew latte only using natural ingredients (no artificial syrups here). Made with our Cold Brew Coffee Maker, smooth cold brew coffee is mixed with rich cocoa powder, sweet maple syrup and vanilla extract before swirling in fresh strawberry milk. Simply blend strawberries and milk/plant based milk with maple syrup for a naturally pink hue bursting with fresh berry flavor. Depending on the sweetness of your berries, you may need to add more or less maple syrup.

While we love the layered look of strawberry milk trickling through chocolatey cold brew (made for Instagram, of course), to make this sip even more simple you can just add all of the ingredients to the blender at once, blending together for 1 minute. The pink hue won’t show its true colors, but the fresh berry flavor will pop through. Save a few berries to garnish the glass, sit back and sip on this naturally sweet chocolate strawberry delight.

Chocolate Strawberry Cold Brew Latte

Ingredients for chocolate coffee

  • 1 cup cold brew coffee (brewed in Takeya Cold Brew Coffee Maker)
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder (dutch processed recommended)
  • 2 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract

Ingredients for strawberry milk

  • 1 cup milk or plant based milk
  • 2 cup chopped strawberries, stems removed
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup

Cold brew coffee for 24hours in our Takeya Cold Brew Coffee Maker. To make two servings, add 1 cup cold brew coffee, cocoa powder, maple syrup and vanilla extract to a blender – blend for 30-60 seconds to combine. Divide chocolate coffee blend between two glasses. Thoroughly rinse blender.

Add ½ cup milk or plant based milk, strawberries and maple syrup to the blender. Blend on high for approx. 1 minute until combined and frothy. Taste and adjust – as you may need to add more maple syrup to achieve the flavor profile depending on the freshness/sweetness of your berries. Top off cold brew with the strawberry milk (1/2 cup in each glass), stir and enjoy.

**Note: While separately making the chocolate cold brew and strawberry milk creates a layered look when poured, you can simplify the process by adding all of the ingredients in the blender at once, blending together for 1 minute, and then dividing between two glasses.
