SHIPPING/RETURNS

WHAT'S YOUR POLICY FOR US SHIPPING?

Free Shipping on all orders: Applies to contiguous United States only (excludes Hawaii and Alaska). FedEx Overnight, FedEx Two Day and USPS Priority Mail are available at an additional charge.

For US orders, your tracking number will be sent via e-mail when your package is shipped. All orders received by 2pm Eastern Time Monday through Friday ship the same day.

DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?

We do not ship outside the US. 

HOW DO I TRACK MY ORDER?

You can check the status of your order by logging into your account, clicking My Orders, and then clicking on the order you would like to track. You can also click on the tracking number in the email we send you when your package is shipped. 

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY ORDER?

Shipping times may vary depending on the method requested at the time of purchase.  We are unable to deliver to P.O. Boxes. United States shipping addresses only.

Free Shipping: Your package will typically arrive typically between 3-7 business days within the contiguous United States.

FedEx Standard Overnight: Delivery should arrive in 1 business day; applicable for North American shipments only, excluding Hawaii and Alaska. Please note that FedEx Overnight orders placed after 3:00pm ET will be processed the next business day and orders placed after 1:00pm ET Friday, or on a weekend will be processed the following business day. Select zip codes are not available for this service and some locations require additional shipping times. No Saturday delivery is available.

FedEx 2Day: Delivery within 2 business days to most areas; applicable for North American shipments only. FedEx 2 Day service delivery days are Monday through Friday.  No Holidays. Please note that FedEx 2 Day orders placed after 3:00 PM EST Friday, or on a weekend will be processed the following business day. Select zip codes are not available for this service and some locations require additional shipping times.

USPS Priority Mail - USPS Priority Mail packages typically arrive in 2-3 days. 

USPS delivers on Saturday, but does not deliver on Sunday.

USPS First Class: Some packages are shipped via USPS first class mail. These typically take 5 to 7 business days to arrive. 

HOW DO I RETURN AN ITEM?

WHEN WILL MY ORDER SHIP?

Depending on the day your order is placed, it may take between 24 to 36 hours to process. Orders placed on a weekend or holiday will be processed the following business day. An email confirmation will be sent to the email address provided at the time of purchase. If you do not receive an email confirmation, please contact our Customer Service team (customerservice@takeyausa.com).

BOTTLE QUESTIONS

CAN I PUT MY TAKEYA BOTTLE IN THE DISHWASHER?

We do not recommend washing your stainless steel bottles in the dishwasher as doing so may cause discoloration of powder coat finish.

Instead, we recommend that you hand wash your bottle with a non-abrasive dish soap. For a deep cleaning, we suggest cleaning the Lid O-Rings with a 50/50 solution of water and vinegar. Do not use cleansers with harsh chemicals like bleach or chlorine as they can ruin your bottle. Occasionally, remove the silicone o-rings in your bottle cap and clean those as well.

However, all of our lids are top shelf dishwasher safe and we encourage you to wash them that way especially if you drink something other than water to keep them mold and germ free.

WHAT ARE SOME DOS AND DON'TS TO PAY ATTENTION TO?

WARNING

Do not use in microwave or freezer.

Do not use on stove for cooking.

Allow hot liquids to cool to a drinkable temperature prior to sealing lid.

Do not overfill product.

Hot liquids can scald you. Keep out of reach of children when filled with hot liquids.

CAN I PUT CARBONATED BEVERAGES IN MY BOTTLE?

Yes, you can put carbonated beverages in your double-wall stainless steel bottles. However, we urge you to use carefully as carbonated beverages in an airtight container may cause a build-up of pressure which could cause your bottle to leak or the liquid to splash out unexpectedly when you open your bottle. Use with caution.

I LOST THE O-RINGS IN MY TAKEYA BOTTLE THAT MAKE IT LEAKPROOF. CAN I PURCHASE NEW ONES?

Yes, you can find replacement o-rings and other parts in the Bottle Accessories page of our website.

BEVERAGE MAKER AND PITCHER QUESTIONS

HOW MUCH LOOSE-LEAF TEA SHOULD I USE IN THE FLASH CHILL ICED TEA MAKER?

We recommend using approximately 4-6 tablespoons of tea with our 1quart Flash Chill Iced Tea Maker and approximately 8-10 tablespoons of tea with our 2 quart Flash Chill Iced Tea Maker. Note: These are suggested measurements and depend on the brand/type of tea and your personal preference of tea strength/flavor.

CAN I USE TEA BAGS IN THE FLASH CHILL ICED TEA MAKER?

Yes. You can use either loose-leaf tea or tea bags. We recommend approximately 4-6 tea bags with our 1 Quart Flash Chill Iced Tea Maker and 8-10 tea bags with our two quart. 

Note: These are suggested measurements and depend on the brand/type of tea and your personal preference of tea strength/flavor.

IS IT NORMAL TO HAVE A LITTLE SEDIMENT IN MY COLD BREW COFFEE?

Since cold brew coffee is created by allowing coffee grounds and water to steep for an extended period of time, some sediment in your cold brew coffee is completely normal. However, to cut down on the amount of sediment transfer, ensure that you are using coarsely ground coffee. Coffee that is ground too finely can result in a brew with higher than normal levels of sediment. If you prefer, you can strain your final brew through a paper filter to remove any excess sediment.

Yes, Takeya products and accessories are BPA-free. Our pitchers and drinkmakers are made from high-quality, BPA-free Tritan™, which can withstand boiling hot and ice cold temperatures.

Infusers/Filters: Tap upside down in trash bin or garbage disposal to remove contents and rinse. Hand wash or soak with mild soap is recommended, but all of our infusers and filters are top rack dishwasher safe.
